In a budding metropolis of thousands of inhabitants, a simple, common guy called Emmet lives his life. Every day he wakes up, watches TV, drinks coffee, drives to work, jams to pop music and interacts with acquaintances and co-workers, pretty sure that, everything is awesome. That is, until he finds the "piece of resistance" and realizes he may be "The Special," a mysterious figure destined to lead a revolution. In his quest, he uncovers that it's entirely possible he is living in the midst of a corporate-controlled authoritarian regime ruled by the OCTAN Corporation, under the tight grip of "President (Lord) Business," who demands total obedience to the rules--his rules-- in exchange for "Taco Tuesday." Can Emmet and his friends open their eyes to the world around them? How was that world constructed? How could they be so blind? And now, which reality will they choose to enable?
